The Thermometer is a daily assessment of how urgent it is for ALL OF US TO MARCH IN WASHINGTON DC RIGHT NOW. The urgency is given in degrees Celsius, and unfortunately we’re going to be very close to the boiling point for some time to come.

Along with the daily temperature I will provide a news summary, which could be links to stories or opinions, my own synthesis of what is going on and where we stand, or possibly something else that I have not yet thought of.

All content is working on the assumption that US citizens and residents have crucial parts to play that CANNOT be done by our elected representatives or by the legal community. All of these are important, but without the force of our numbers they will not save us.

Comments and discussion are welcome and encouraged. I do not know everything, I do not have all the information, and mine is not the only perspective.

I do, however, believe in the Constitution, the inherent worth and dignity of every person, equal rights for all, and that government should be the partner of the people, sometimes leading and sometimes led.
